Dinner for four with the tasting menu, drinks not included. Spectacular! Attentive staff, excellent service, beautiful presentation, delicious dishes, and great value. I fear it won’t be long before it earns a Michelin star or two... Highly recommended. It’s small, so booking is advisable. We’ll be back!

Highly recommended. The tasting menu was surprising, flavorful, delicious, and complete... We paired the menu with different wines recommended by Diego, and each one was just as good as the last. The wine pairing made the experience even more special. The service and attention were impeccable. We’ll be back again and again! Thanks to Diego and the team!

We absolutely loved it! It was our first time here, and we were fascinated by the tasting menu. The restaurant is spacious and bright, with two levels and Mediterranean decor that pays attention to detail and highlights wood and natural fibres. The tasting menu is flexible and can be tailored to the diner’s preferences, with the chef happy to make recommendations. It consists of an appetiser and seven courses, including starters, fish, meat and dessert. Everything was delicious, with original, well-balanced flavour combinations. The dessert was a wonderful finale to the menu, and the cream cheese dessert with pumpkin sauce was spectacular. They have an extensive wine list to accompany the food. Diego and the rest of the staff were absolutely wonderful. We’ll definitely be back!

A great find in Santander. We discovered Cirana thanks to our friends and went straight for the tasting menu. Honestly, it was a great choice. A fine-dining-level experience, with great care put into every dish and, above all, a deep respect for local ingredients. You can tell how much work goes into each creation and how much attention to detail there is, without anything feeling pretentious. We also loved the thoughtfully curated wine list, which pairs beautifully with the food. Diego, the chef, spent a good while chatting with us about the restaurant’s concept, how they select local ingredients, and the philosophy behind the dishes. That kind of personal touch always adds so much to the experience. We left delighted and eager to come back. Without a doubt, a place to keep in mind when visiting Santander.

Excellent food made with carefully selected ingredients, expertly prepared and seasoned, then finished at the last moment with the appropriate sauces and accompaniments in front of the diners by an efficient, well-trained kitchen assistant. The food and wine menus are not extensive, but they are well balanced and appealing. We made some excellent choices: starters of anchovies in tempura and wood hedgehog mushrooms, followed by venison loin and cod tripe, all washed down with a bottle of Regajal red that was not too expensive. Special mention goes to today’s amuse-bouche, a small glass of porrusalda with white miso and smoked butter with black salt, and the fluffy bread served alongside, perfect for mopping up the sauces. The service was friendly and well coordinated with the dishes coming out of the kitchen, with hardly any waiting. One downside is the lack of tablecloths, now common across the restaurant industry, although the plates and cutlery are changed with each course. The restaurant spans two well-decorated floors, with around six or seven well-spaced tables, plus a few high stools at the bar. There is pleasant background music and very little noise, so you can talk without having to raise your voice, as is often the case in restaurants across our country. As mentioned earlier, the kitchen has two sections, partially open to view, but no smoke or smells reach the dining room. Congratulations to chef-owner Diego and his team. We’ll be back. Bonifaz Street, where the restaurant is located, is not particularly appealing for a casual stroll, tucked behind more touristy streets, but it is home to four or five restaurants offering top-quality cuisine.

Excellent! If you are traveling in Northen Spain this restaurant should be on your stop list. The food is amazingly tasty and well designed. The atmosphere is friendly and inspiring and I really appreciated the open kitchen, I could have watched the chefs work all day. I strongly recommend the tasting menu as it is really well composed. We had lunch here and it was so good we had to go for dinner as well in the same day.

We ate at Casa Cirana twice during our stay, once for lunch and once for dinner, so we had the chance to try both the tasting menu and the à la carte selection. I especially enjoyed the tasting menu. It was very well balanced: flavorful and satisfying without feeling heavy. My favorite dishes were the smoked picana, the raw bonito, and, of course, the chocolate ganache dessert, which was the perfect ending to the meal. Congratulations to the chef and the entire team for creating such a menu. I hope to come back one day and enjoy your food again 😍

A chance encounter because after 3 tries, this restaurant would accept us with 2 (well behaved) dogs. And we were so positively surprised by the food, so thank you to the chef for accepting us 🙏🏻 We had the large menu and everything was simply delicious! The asparagus and the cured meat were our favorites. Finally we let the chef chose 2 excellent Spanish wines. If you think less is more, this definitely is worth a visit!

We passed by the restaurant and figured we had to eat there just by the look of it ! And indeed, our hunch was right. We took the 7 service course and were totally amazed from one dish to the other. The savoir-faire was outstanding, namely the zucchini which was my ultimate favorite. Thank you for this great evening !

I absolutely loved this restaurant. Not too many tables, so book in advance. Every single course was exquisite. A seasonal menu with high quality ingredients. Attention to every detail from the staff and the price is more than reasonable for what you get. I particularly enjoyed the open kitchen and watching how our food was prepared. By comparison with the Michelin starred restaurant we've been to in Santander, I'd say Casa Cirana is the superior option.
